- No need to carry stock, or have to order what the customer wants at last minute.
- So always provide whatever warranty your customer wants instantly at the time of sale - without stock.
- Get NWS volume wholesale pricing - even when ordering one warranty at a time.
- Set your own on-line warranty retail mark-ups and RRP in your own IDS retail screens for each type of warranty.
- Your cost price is displayed on retail screens for the salesperson but hidden from the customer.
- Change your RRP for any individual warranty sale if you want (or use '0' for bundles).
- Sell NWS warranties '24 x 7'! Now you can sell any warranty you need on Thursday evening, Saturday & Sunday. Without any stock.
- Track your IDS warranty costs & sales in real-time with on-line Sales Reports (& confirmation emails for each sale ).

The two IDS Admin & Sales log-ons are on RHS of the NWS Home Page. I would suggest saving each one to your desktop(s).
The IDS ID is the same for both the Sales and Admin Modules. And the initial passwords for both modules are also set to the same as your ID.
You can change each password in the IDS Admin module. If required, you can set different passwords for the Sales & Admin modules so that sales staff can only access the IDS Sales module, and not Admin.
Next, it would be useful for you to enter your own warranty price retail mark-ups in the IDS Admin module. This is used to create a retail RRP to be displayed on your IDS retail sales screens for each warranty. Note the $$$ amount you enter is added to the NWS cost price to create your retail RRP.
You can change the displayed RRP at the time of each retail sale/purchase of a warranty on both the IDS sales screens (so that you can discount it (or reduce to '0' if you are bundling it and don't wish to have a retail price). If you don't enter any retail mark-ups in Admin, the IDS system will automatically add 100% to your cost price as default mark-up (so that your cost price is not displayed on the screen).
>>> Addendum: The RRP & mark-up fields may be deleted from IDS because Resellers seem to often confuse the retail RRP displayed on-screen with their own cost price.
IDS is designed for a retail environment so all $$$ figures are Inc GST.
Another little IDS tip. On the IDS Sales screens, you will notice a NWS Code next to each warranty, starting and ending with '9'. If you ignore the '9's, and look at remaining figure in the middle, that is your NWS wholesale cost price (inc GST) for that warranty!
NWS has always given all our Resellers the same volume wholesale pricing as companies such as Altech and others get for volumes of 50 or 100 per month. (Please call for Wholesale Price List if you do not have one.)
And now, using our patent-pending IDS system, you can still get these same wholesale volume prices - even when you use IDS to purchase just one warranty at a time on-line.
IDS does NOT replace our traditional 'sticker' warranties! Our traditional pre-purchased 'sticker' warranties are still very much available, and are most suitable where you include say a 1 year NWS warranty on ALL your systems (and then of course you can offer an warranty upgrade to 3 or 5 year using IDS), or simply where you need to purchase the warranty, but you don't have the customer details (selling wholesale would be a good example of that).
('Sticker' warranties you pre-order by phone, fax, or email in minimum of five warranties of each warranty you need. IDS warranties are of course done individually on-line at time of retail sale. And all warranties are paid for at the end of each month.)
IDS Help
Soon IDS will have range of screens and annotations for Reseller Help & Training. But really it takes all of 5 minutes to understand the IDS Sales module, and another 5 minutes to understand the IDS Admin module.
IDS Login
The IDS Admin & Sales login options are found on the right hand side of the NWS home page.
The IDS Admin Module includes these options -
- Changing Passwords
- Sales reports
- Setting your RRP mark-ups
- Reprinting Certificates
The IDS Sales Module includes these options -
- purchasing
- selling
- instant delivery
- instant activation.
You can start ordering IDS warranties as soon as your IDS Account is set up. This is usually within 24 hours or sooner of your account request. You will get an automatic email when this is done.
As mentioned, you can track all IDS sales in IDS Admin, and you will be sent a monthly statement for payment for all your warranty purchases at the end of each month.
IDS Test Account
And just so you can familiarise yourself with how IDS works and have a play with some 'dummy' warranty purchases, and setting up your warranty mark-ups, we have created a Test Reseller you can use for training and testing purposes.
